I got my order for 1850.67 with next business day air shipping and after taxes.

One thing you all might want to know, you get slightly better prices when you call Dell and talk to them about purchasing a laptop. Make sure you go slow and wear down the sales person, connect with the sales person and joke around because the sales person would be more gladly to help you out and maybe give you better prices and be more honest with you about your "potiental" purchase. I have no idea what he did or how did this happened or Dell likes to give discount to people over the phone, but my purchase online was reading $1980.00, but when I called and talk a sales person over the phone, I got a quote of $1850.60 shipped and everything and thats is with "9 cell battery, UXGA screen, 3 yrs accidental and limited warranty," I am happy that is all I know about my experience

One more thing, make sure you specificly tell the sales person not to include Anti virus software because is about $50 more if you did not catch it!!!

Nothing new, big deal, I got the same deal but got 36% off cause of the extra 6% EPP off and I got the upgraded screen UWXGA.
thats hte best deal u can get CURRENTLY....
go for it if u need the laptop now.

I think its worthit, rather than wasting time everyday surfing for deals, and drooling over everyone elses system.
I spent the last month doing thiS!!
sounds like a good one but will wait for a better deals
post #10 of 35
Are you guys waiting for a dramatic price drop? I wouldn't think that would happen for a few months at least.
I don't know if I already mentioned (read: bragged) about my price, but I got my 9400 for $1560 after tax and shipping (originally ~$1860 before I called Dell)..

The only thing not included in the above price are:
1) Extended warranty (only got 1 year standard)
2) 9 Cell Battery (only got the 6 as I didn't want the thing to stick out the bottom)..
3) 100GB drive.. (Got the 80GB)..

Sales people can be nice sometimes.. I Dell sales people for taking care of me (this time)

you now guys intel core due have bug's right ?
Yeah, well, the bugs must be crunching numbers in there, cause my little baby is smokin'!! No problems at all. In fact, I'm going crank it up and play some FEAR right now.
that is the sipirit

bugs about power? hook it up baby who cares
post #15 of 35
I'm not too worried about the power bug at this time, I DO want it fixed ASAP because I hate bugs!

When I'm flying, I'm not going to pull out my USB wireless keyboard and play with it.. I'm most likely going to have just the laptop out, so the power shouldn't be affected.. Still, it's ugly!

well %30 off coupon is expired now 3W?MJ219DFJ440
