Actually those number seem very high for a non-tweaked card.

Are you conplaining that the driver is to old or that your expecting high performance?

Overclocked I can say yes they should.. but these cards are very underpowered compared to their 6800-ultra and 7800-Gtx bretheren. At stock clocks its scoring right around where it should but overclocked as has been said before it should get somewhere around the score of a 6800 ultra stock.

The specs shows it as being faster than a stock 6800Ultra. Plus the technology for the pixel shaders is newer as well and more efficient. Overclocked Fredrik was getting around 5900? on 3dmark05 I think.

Did anyone have any succes on unlocking the other pixel shaders on this card? I don't really need the extra performance yet, but it would be nice to know if it could work.

I do notice a drop in performance (according to 3DMark 06) between the strock drivers and the ExtremeG ones. The stock ones seem to be faster.

Noticed that as well while back.. Lost ~200 points in 3DMark 06..

I also noticed that overclocking the card doesn't really help either. But I must admit that I haven't spend much time on this. I also tried unlocking the pixel pipes but that didn't yield any extra performance, but I might very well have messed that up.

I think RivaTune only works on AGP cards to unlock those pipes.. So hang on till we hear otherwise..

As far as OC.. Doing the "Detect Optimal Settings" I got a 40% boost in performance (roughly 2k in 3DMark 06 to 2.8k).. I'm sure that's not as good as even a stock 7800 GTX, but even at stock clocks I play FEAR just fine, so 40% boost only makes it that much better..
