I just got my new Sager 9750 with a GeForce Go 7800 GTX. My computer came pre-installed with NVIDIA Video Drivers, Version 79.31. I wanted to upgrade my drivers, so I went to NVIDIA's website and downloaded the GeForce Go 7800 GTX Video Drivers, Version: 81.94 (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2...le_81.94.html). It said that Sager was one of the Notebook Manufacturers Supported, so I thought they would work, but they did not. I removed all my old drivers, reset the computer, and tried to install the new drivers, but it kept saying “The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.” I keep getting this problem with other driver versions as well. I tried to get the drivers to install also with a modded INF, but I still had problems because it said it could not install some of the files.
What is the best version of drivers currently available for my computer and graphic card that will actually install and work correctly, and where do I get them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
