What is the best acer model for work in AutoCAD?
What is the best configuration for projects in AutoCAD?
I am about to get the 8204 but the price holds me back. Any suggestions?

OK, to be honest, I never tried it with Autocad, I did install softImage XSI and Rhino 3D, although I didn't do any serious Job, Ferrari handled them smoothly, I did some big Posters in Illustrator and Photoshop, and allot of programming work, and it's smooth, now, as much as I think, it will handle AutoCAD very well.

I wouldn't suggest 8200 something, yes it's fast and really good, but it's new, if you don't need the laptop now like NOW, don't buy it, cause it will become outdated in less than 6 months, otherwise my advice to go with Ferrari.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I got my Ferrari from UAE, I read allot about some Ferraris has problem, and they do, I used to think that some people are picky, but it turn out to be true for them, it seems that Ferrari is not the same everywhere, some have heat problem, some Noise, others monitor, So be careful, for me the dealer has some work that I was doing for him, so he kinda picked the best he has as much as he thinks, I didn't make it easy, DO NOT BUY Ferrari if it's not infront of you!

Thanks God I have no defections, but, sound is low, and mouse is as good as nothing. Monitor is GREAT! Video CARD is GREAT! (HL2, FEAR, ROME TOTAL WAR, PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTATOR, etc...), speed is great but it sometimes slow down (multitask) and sometimes it hang for a fraction of a sec. when playing music, some say if I install windows 64 bit it will go, but I don't have time for this (YET).
