Thing is, I really don't know. The chips have no pins on them but ball grid array connectors so I assume theyre for laptops, but I have no way to ID them.

/shrug... That's the mystery of it all.

Could have been worse... those could have been AMDs

:P
They were made in/around 2002... so they might not be too bad!

Too bad those numbers on them don't turn up results... the die doesn't have any writing on them?

They might be some one-off chips or something!

QS = Qualification Sample.

Those are 800MHz Pentium-III's.

don't try. i sold about a 100 lappy cpus on ebay and those are worthless. the 1133mhz models go for $10 hardly. PM and 2.0+ P4s is where the money's at.

Even five bucks times 169 is a good chunk of change

If you know they are fuctional = eBay.
if you make them into keychains or decide to give them away drop me a pm... That would make one badass keycahin. Or i could even replace my old pentium prossessor in my gateway with a pantium two or higher maby =P If you set something up with paypal i may even purchase a few =]

I still haven't decided what to do with all these chips...

Right now they are just sitting on a shelf with the trays stacked.

On the other side of the coin, I also got an older Dell Rackmount server I've been toying around with and boy is it loud!
so how many cpu's do you actually have?
All of them together would make one BADASS number cruncher...just have to figure out how...Superb for statistical calculations when you have grids of CPUS melting together
