Yes, it is also more accurate than the Dell (Logitech) corded USB Wheel Mouse that it replaced.
With Widcomm, The Wheel and five buttons work fine under control from the ALPS Console, which has no ability to re-program functions for buttons 4 & 5,
the default of Forward/Back is what I prefer anyway, think you would need to install IntelliPoint to change their assignments, but not worth it for me.
Recieved IntelliMouse, late July and got six weeks with the included Energizers, followed with cheapest (48 for $9.59) Costco AA's and got seven
and then eight weeks from two sets of those.
I have too many sets of Ni-MH's for an old GPS that I rarely use any more, and with the oldest set of 1500mAh have run two weeks
and then three weeks so far.
I use it all the time and for travel, just pack it so 'LED' sees no movement and it remains asleep
(BT "Devices in range" Confirms that it is not transmitting).
