Don't count on getting the rebate to pay your credit card bill or anything like that.

Is anyone aware of any of the rebates coming soon? I have a Gateway M505 laptop, but it had an unfortunate accident a week before christmas involving my mother and an open ottle of water. SO now whenever i type (im acually on my work comp right now) it looks like i dont have a grasp of the english language at all. I decided Im going to get an AW rig and when i started looking there was a $299 rebate going on but it ended the next day so now Im out for the moment till new rebates come back up. But i will have to thank my mom for the new laptop when it comes in.

You can check in THIS forum for current rebates (just click the most recent dates). also keep an eye on the AW website.

Sounds good. If it were up to me i would get it now but the parents are the one paying for it so i have to wait till they give the go ahead. Somthing about new parts or cheaper hardware or some kinda crap like that . psht Oh and yes here is a new question for all the incredible and fantastic AW owners, can i just get the ram that comes with the AW then go to newegg or something like that and get some more ram for cheaper? i didn't know if they would fit it or not. Thanks

Zach

p.s. 5 more days till i hear back from Clemson on my admission.

In other words, what is the best discount that i can count on seeing so i know when to jump on it. I havn't been watching the site enough to know what a good deal is or not. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I have yet another question. When opting to get my Ram from newegg, what would be the best brand to get and what does AW think of people when they do this and they see it if it is being repaired.

if u call tech support prior to installing anything, they will have a record of it and it will be fine...BUT

if AW will not repair, or touch your pc/lappy if it's the 3rd party part that caused the issue...so in other words, if you are going to change anything about your rig...install the stock parts in it 1st before you send it out
