I need help with my Satellite M35-S456

Hi I don't know anything about computers and I'm stressing out. My hard drive recently crashed so I bought and installed a new one. The problem is that now my DVD player isn't working and I never recieved a recovery disk. What do I do? Any help would be really appreciated.

Why do you assume you CD is not working? What exactly are you trying to do with the new hard drive. In order to boot off the CD you have to hit F12 at Toshiba logo, that will allow you to choose a boot device.

the problem the recovery cd is that I only have the express media recovery cd and not the second one. I've heard I need both in order to reinstall it becasue it's a new hard drive. is there anything else I could do instead?

I need the recovery disc

If anyone has a Recovery disc for the express media player. If someone could upload an iso image of it, or send it to me, I need it. They don't have the disc at Toshiba, and the player gets deleted with a system restore.
