FS: Dell XPS 200 (small form factor desktop)

I bought this from Dell's outlet in December, and I've been using it as an HTPC since then. Just upgraded my set to HD, so now I need a box that has a slot for an HDTV tuner card.

This box is small and somewhat expandable. It has a low-profile PCIe x16 slot, and a PCIe x1 slot. As well as a bunch of USB ports, etc. More info from Dell here:

http://www1.us.dell.com/content/prod...=19&l=en&s=dhs

Specs:

XPS 200: Intel Pentium 4 Processor 630 w/HT Technology (3.0GHz,800FSB)
Certified Refurbished (looked brand-new when I took it out of the box, and still does)
1 GB DDR2 SDRAM (2 DIMMs)
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005
USB 2 Button Mouse
Microsoft Works Suite
McAfee Security Center with VirusScan, Firewall, Spyware Removal, 15-months
USB Keyboard
160Gb SATA (7200 RPM)
8x DVD +/- RW w/dbl layer write capability
No monitor
Still under 1-year warranty (till Dec 2006), including exclusive XPS support and on-site service

Asking: $550+shipping

And a couple of pix:

The first shot shows the MCE "10 foot" interface.

The last shot shows the retractable door open, and you can see the side-mounted rubber feet in case you want to position the machine horizontally.

Nice price. Good luck with selling it!

Does it come with a tv tuner? Don't they sell external hdtv tuner's?

Dell offers an optional tuner, but it's only SD. There is one HD USB tuner on the market, and that's probably what I'll do if it doesn't sell.

I already have some PCI-based tuner cards I can use if I switch to a full-height box, though.

Anyway, it would make somebody a nice system if they have limited space.

Is there any way of getting this to output component video like 720p, or 1080i?

I have RGB inputs on my set, so that's what I use. I haven't seen a video card with component outputs, but DVI to HDMI seems to be pretty mainstream these days.

Last bump before I list her on eBay. And I'll drop the price to a tantalizing $499 + shipping.
