Amilo 3438G RAM problems?

First of all I'd like to say hi to everyone on here.

I recieved my Amilo 3438G last week (1.73GHz, 512MB, 80GB version), and I have just upgraded the RAM to 2x512MB of 533MHz Corsair. However I think that I'm only running in single channel mode. I've installed Sandra on the laptop and I ran the memory benchmark. With the original RAM I got 29xxMB/s bandwidth, which seemed low. When I upgraded I only installed 1 stick at first, this got 30xx bandwidth, when I installed the second stick it got pretty much the same score again.

Is it possible to change it to dual channel? Or is this simply normal?
