Shipping Costs Question / Memory Question

1. Shipping: Ok well on the website shipping is $49 - discount = I think $26. So shipping costs $26 on the website. My uncle can get a discount for the laptops from his work and when he called them shipping is going to costs like $68. Why is that? Its the same company so why should should shipping cost more over phone then it does over the website??

2. Memory: If I got a laptop with a 1/2 GB in it but I wanted to add more to it would it be easy? Is there just a small slot on the side of the laptop to put it in or would I have to take the laptop apart a little? This is on an Inspiron 6000 btw.

Sorry not meaning to push for an answer but no1 seems to have looked at this for awhile and it's slowly slipping down the page ^^. So yeah any help would be greatly appreciated.

Costs are almost equal between the 2 sites, when shipping is factored in.You might get a slightly better price from Dell SB but then add shipping and you've pretty much equalled the price from Dell home.
Memory is an easy upgrade, save money, do it yourself.

what do u mean by the 2 sites? I didnt know there was another site, whats the url?

Dell Home or Dell Small Business, if you uncle gets one thru work it's probably from the Small Business site.
