Something is terribly wrong with your machine. With those specs (especially freaking 3GB of RAM) you should be WAAAY up there. On my Desktop, with only 1GB of RAM and a 6600GT, I get around 60fps and never lag... not once.... Even in Ironforge on a Friday Night. Althought I'm unsure what is wrong, 3GB of RAM is a very strange number. Usually if people go all out it's 4 to keep things even but the hell if I know...

i only played this when i bought the game for the free trial period, was very impressed but my dads desktop is slow so lag pretty much anywhere there were other people slow loading times etc

But i'm looking at an aurora 7700 so i may very well get back in WOW

BTW i had about 5 characters all round lvl 20 (got bored when lvling took longer and ya could do with joining wiht people due to slow comp so kept starting new ones)

I play it on my m5500, and it runs on max settings very smoothly.
All settings maxed out on my 5700 gets about 20-30fps in a big town but out soloing gets about 45-50fps now only if the server would stay up...
I have a 7700 with 2 gigs of ram and I usually run around 50-60fps but i've never seen over 60fps. Yet a friend of mine has the same setup that I do and sees higher fps than I do. We both play on Cenarius, Alliance.

I'll have to turn off v-sync and check my fps when I get my laptop back from repair.
