Dell go6800 work in 9860?

I have the misfortune of having the x800 in my 9860. It will not maintain the aspect ratio and expand to fill the screen (this is an old problem, and has never been solved ). I would like to put a go6800 (not necessarily Ultra, since that requires a mb upgrade) in it. I keep checking, and no one seems to have one for sale specifically for the 9860, but there are tons for sale for Dells. Will a Dell go6800 work in the Sager?

Sorry if this question has been asked a dozen times, but the search function doesn't seem to be working and I've hunted all over looking for an answer to this question.

Thanks in advance,

Caff

So there are no mods to make it work?

The next question is does anyone know where you could order a go6800 for a d900T/9860?

Well, I contacted them, and since mine isn't sager branded, they basically told me no.

Know what I did?

To hell with it. I bought an Inspiron 9400 with a go 7800 GTX in it. Soon I will be posting this notebook for sale. It's great for everything except older games.

I ordered my I9400 today, and have gotten crapped on by an ATI anything for the last time. This isn't PCTorque's fault, since Sager would have done the upgrade (at the tune of $845, though ) had it been purchased from PCTorque, but whatever. I blame ATI for not addressing the issue, lying about it (since it doesn't affect nvidia cards) and my own self for getting something with an ATI in it when I know they tend to be dodgy. Everyone can sing about how ATI ownz but the only thing they've ever pwned is my $$$ and my a$$.

for caffeina and sharp:

I have a clevo d900t too with the 6800go (not ultra).
For job reasons (I work with render application) I wish to change my video card with the quadro 1400 fx.
If any of you need mine we can agree for sale: the only problem is that I live in Italy and shipping rate could be a little expensive (also if I think not too much: I have buyed other times on ebay from US and shipping weren't very high).
Let me know.
Regards,
Federico
