Dell Certified Refurbished

I just completed an order for a Certified Refurbished XPS M170. I was wondering you there was anyone else here who bought one of these and tell me if they're fully reliable? I was about to buy one new off ebay (reputable seller as far as I could see) but I came across an almost ideally spec'ed M170 in the Dell Outlet... Figured buying straight from Dell's gotta be the safest bet. Anyone who bought refurbished laptops tell me of their experiences?

They are fine. I've bought refurbished equipment in the past and typically find they are better then a new unit. You love it! Congrats!

I just checked the outlet database, the only m170 i see is :
2ghz
1 gig of ram
60 gig 7200 hd
6800 ULTRA
17 inch wuxga

the funny thing is they are asking 2200+ dollars, but BRAND NEW from dell's education site the same damn laptop I priced out today for 1889 + tax haha.

there are items going on and off there within minutes... just within about 20 minutes, i saw at least 10 different models listed. all gone pretty fast. i was lucky the config i wanted came up while i was there. oh and they currently have $500 discount for anything over $2000...

thanks for that, Adrenolin. feel a lot better now.
