Acer warranty

I think this has been asked before, but I couldn't find the info. Does Acer offer extended warranty? And do I have to buy this extended warranty at the time of the notebook purchase or can I still buy it later (before 1 yr warranty expires). Anyone know what shops offer extended acer warranty?

Newegg.com offers them. I think you can buy them direct from acer also. Check their website.

You can buy them from Acer, and in spite of what it says on their site (must be purchased within 15 or 90 days of purchasing the notebook, depending on which part of the site you're reading), I was told by their customer service that the new policy is that all extended warranties can be purchased anytime within the first year.

I'd call be to make sure...

yah go to Comp USA in the states and they will put a warranty on it. Especially since they sell Acers.

Hi, I purchased my extended warrenty in the UK well after 90 days and I only implemented it one month before the end of my first year. I got it from my dealer that supplied the laptop as it was cheaper than Acer. I think the 15-90 day may either be different from one locality to another, or, you might be referring to the extended warrenty with accidental damage included.
