Did you oc? if so what numbers?
Good score. Especially for such a low overclock (412 core and 290 ram).
Why doesn't your d800 support at least 24 sounds? I see that no sound tests were run?
He's probably using the original sound drivers. Mine didn't support any sound tests until I upgraded: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

62MHz increase on Core and 40MHz increase on Memory isnt pocket change. Way to go, dude!
you could probably squeeze a couple extra points out of that by switching to Omega drivers, they helped my score by over 100 pts. (Stock Clock was 28something to 2985) on here. with a OC to 260/255 i break 3k.
Yeah, my stock is 2945.

I just today lost 21 points (3680 down to 3659) just by changing my control panel to the newest ATI 3.10 version. I guess there are some tweaks in the control panels. Huh? I know that Omega says not to use any other control panel with their drivers or most of there tweaks will be over written.
I think I'm going to Omega and see if their NEW, NEW drivers are better than ATIs NEW, NEW ones.

omfg, not 21 points!

IMO people pay too much attention to these numbers. Benchmark them playing games. in FPS. That is what matters.

if you get a better score just submit it on futuremark, its fun to try to match and/or beat other peoples scores.

21 points can be as much as a 4 Mhz oc of vid card memory. It adds up!

What was your score. The project from your original post is no longer valid.

With latest omega drivers based on ati 4.2, 3Dmark03 was 3,668 and 3Dmark2001SE was 12,266. OC'd with radlinker to 479 engine and 283 memory.
3,668!?! nice... What model you got Babbabresaur? Thats getting pretty close to my desktop score. I hit about a 4,9xx with a 2.53-533fsb with 1066 Rdram and a 9700 pro.

I have a 8890 {8887V upgraded to 8890}, 3.06 HT processor, still running on 533 bus, 1 gig of 400 DDR, and the 9600 pro. I would say the omega drivers based on ati 4.2 made the difference. I had been getting scores of approximately 11,600 and 3,100 based on ati's 4.1 driver set.

I just started using the 2.5.22 omega drivers yesterday,, and so far they seem nice and stable, I havent reinstaled the benchmarking software since my apacer ram died (both sticks) got new ram, and formatted due to massive corruption.
I agree tho, when I got my 8890 in aug, the m10 drivers supplied by ati were garbage, and omega saved the day!
from what I have read, the guys at PCTORQUE have reached 4k with the 8790 and are still climbing
post #18 of 21
That has the m11 gpu doesnt it?
