N3510 Malfunctions again. :-(

Well, here we go again. I am having the same display corruption as last time when I sent this thing in. It has to be serviced again.

Let's see, that' makes for around the 10th time I had to send Fujitsu laptops in. I sent the C2330 in several times, and they finally deemed that the LCD back lighting couldn't be fixed. So, they are nice enough to give me an N3510 as a replacement system. Well, the first time I got this unit in it had a very bad LCD, with 50+ dead/lite pixels. So they replaced the LCD for me, and that works fine.

After that, I had the video chipset go bad, or the motherboard, who knows, and I had to send that in. They replaced the motherboard, and that fixed the display corruption (for a little while anyway...). Oh yeah, and they also had to replace the keyboard as well when I sent it in that time, since the spacebar was malfunctioning on it since I got the unit.

Now, I have the same malfunctioning video chipset issue. I called, and it's going back again this week.

Anyone else have these problems with their N3510? Their customer service rocks, but their hardware.. meh.

Sorry to hear your problems bud, but sadly, I had the same.

N3510 just like yours (without the TV tuner though), and twice returned because the entire bottom half of the LCD would intermittently flicker, and in the worse cases start to look like a psychadelic kaleidescope show. This happened randomly, with no relation at all to heat or the places I was using the unit.

Good luck my friend. My brother has an N3520 and its been no hassle since day one.

(can't beat the screen quality though, huh? It's ridiculously beautiful.)
