Your one lucky bastard

Man, that thing is not big. You have the most icons i have ever seen on it, and it doesn't take up have the screen.

I really like the 2405FPW, and want to purcase one, but what is dell's replacement policy? If I get one that had dead pixels (even just 1) I don't want to be stuck with it or have to pay $$$ to ship it back for a refund. Also, i'd kinda like to see it in person first.... and of course, are their any additional rebates available?

I'm sure you can bitch to Dell enough to get them to replace it, they supposedly hate when you're not satisfied, lol

Rebates..I'm not sure anymore. When I bought it, it listed for $1100 on their site, and I picked it up for $800 from Dell Small Business with a 3 year warranty. Now that it's $800ish on Dell's site now, i'm not sure if they'll go lower if you haggle a bit with them. Coupons sometimes come around too though.

It's a beautiful screen also, I love mine, now that I have my Truelife WUXGA on my M170 I kinda wish the 2405 was glossy, but it's a badass LCD either way.

I recently got rid of the MX900 keyboard/mouse set for a Logitech G7 mouse and Logitech G15 keyboard....I'm gonna try to take better pics soon.

Wow got enough icons on that desktop

dell will replace your lcd. I have several dells both the 2005fpw and the 2405fpw and dell had no problem replacing one of them because i had one dead pixel. So no worries. Plus all you have to do is place the old one in the box they shipped your new one in so no worries to you.

XD yeah I did, I ended up reformatting and am gonna organize my stuff this time around, it looks a lot cleaner now. I really need some cable management too though, I have cables running EVERYWHERE, it makes the desk look really cluttered.
