Alienware Sentia m3200 Review by GrAfiX - Page 2

$50 24Hour Cart Rebate?

Tell me more about this... I had mine in my cart for at least 24 hours, then it would forget the config and I'd have to make it again.

And before that...I ordered a Sentia m3400, got it to phase 3, then canceled it cause I wasn't sure.

THEN I configed about 12 different m3200's over the span of 2 weeks. I want my $50!

It was an E-mail that said "Complete your Alienware Purchase and get extra savings"

What I did is I saved my cart at checkout instead of going to payment. Even to this day I can pull up that 3200 in my cart.

Well Just an update to my review... Been using my machine for about a month and a half. I love it all except the Touch pad that I still have not gotten used to, but most the time I just use a mouse anyway so it's not that big of a deal.

I am however possibly having a hard drive problem, for a while it was pinging constantly and now that has stopped but every once in a while I get a huge clunk and ping so I think the HDD will eventually fail. But with the cost of drives I will probably just upgrade to something bigger and faster. Nothing I would loose my alienware for to send it into the depot.

Well, HDD has failed, of course I replaced it already with an 80gig drive. Gave the Alienware Tech the error message I got when using ghost to get everything on the 80gig and they promplty sent me a new HDD.

I did find out this information, I can't upgrade the CPU without voiding the warranty.... WTF I asked even if I had them on the phone and they said no.
