Well what can I say, I needed that little bit of extra storage that as a family we could all use. After searching around I narrowed it down to three suppliers, not the cheapest, but all well...
I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...
This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented.
Overall A+++
when i hit open in new window all the new windows are around an 8th of the screen size. its annoying me so i made a topic to see if anyone knew how to reset it so that my friggin windows will all be normal sized.
can't help you , but I like XP. I remember the pre-windows days of PCs, and the Win3 era. I used to spend much more time getting them to work than using them as a tool to do other work. Now XP seems pretty stable, at least for what I use it for.
But I can relate, I hate it when "it does something" , like the auto format and autocorrect in MS Office can get frustrating at times
IIRC:
1. Close all instances of Explorer.
2. Open one single Explorer window.
3. Adjust the size.
4. Press Shift while clicking the 'Close' X-Box Thingy in the top right corner.

thanks.
I want to know how to resize your signature so it is not so wide.
Quick questions, how are you opening the Explorer windows?
Windows+E, Start menu, double-clicking My Computer, Start | Run, other methods?
Note that each of them generally starts in a slightly different place (and possibly opens the window in another location as well).
As for "Remember each folder's view settings", Tools | Folder Options... -> View, then scroll down in the list to the bottom, should be fifth from the last.
If you're using a maximized window the new windows will always be whatever size you last used. Open a browser window and set the size you want to use (without maximizing the window) then close it. The next time you open a window it should open the same size.
its only happening in internet explorer, guess i should have specified. i think what happened is i had a ton of windows open and went to minimize them all and accidently hit tile (not sure whether it was horizontal on veritcal) but it set each window to 1/8th of the screen. i maximized them all and closed them out when i was done with them and the next time i did the "left click>open in new window" the size was maximized. i restarted my computer the other night and it somehow got reset. if i open internet explorer everything is the normal size, just when i open a new window its small. im not sure how to reset it. any other ideas?
