Win 2003 and 9300 video problems

Hey, I just upgraded from WinXP to Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition on my Inspiron 9300. The problems started right from the go when I tried to install the drivers for my graphics and wireless. Even though we all know Windows is essentially the same upgrade after upgrade, the drivers refuse to co-operate. The wireless is working great, however the graphics are choppy and pixelated and sometimes the sound skips a beat or three.

To remedy this, I've tried the official Nvidia drivers with the modified INI, and the Dell drivers which I tried first gave the former results.

Anyone out there know what I should try?

does it say it cannot install? does it have the red or yellow flyer next to the 6800 in hardware manager? otherwise maybe *sounds very novice* but up your screen resolution.

maybe the drivers installed fine by you've yet to turn it to its native resolution.

It's set to it's native resolution. Even if it wasnt this card wouldnt crap itself like it is.

Got hardware acceleration enabled? It is disabled by default in Server 2003.

2003 isnt going to be happy if you are playing games, but for everything else it works just fine. But xp drivers should work on it, what are you doing that the choppy graphics are occuring in?
