While Dell is just now releasing this driver, it was actually released by Intel last November (and is actually dated from October, in the release notes). Downloading it and looking at the inf for the 915M chipset, it appears that the installer will install different versions of the drivers based on the chipset. This latest release adds support for the 945/975 chipsets, but the 915M inf seems to point the installer to install the same driver version I have now, which is "6.1.0.1008." Here's what the 915M inf (included in this latest release) shows:
