Loose LCD?

This is kind of a tough question to ask on a forum, but I figured I would give it a try. How do you know if your LCD is too loose? For instance, I have my laptop on my laptop, if I move it back and forth, should my LCD move a tiny bit?

Any suggestions?

mine does slightly.. I dont think it hurts anythng.. A little bit of sway is a good thing in most cases... Like if bridges wern't designed to sway with the wind, collapses would be much more common.. Dont know how well this translates to lcds.. but as long as its not falling to completely open or closed on its own, you should be fine... It shouldn't hurt anything, but if you find it unacceptable, contact dell to get replacement hinges or something.

Why are you stacking laptops?

Seriously though, a little bit of movement is to be expected, if it was tight enough not to wobble when you move with it on your lap, or anywhere else for that matter, the it would probably be too tight to open and close...
