Anyway, just wondering, if you could classify your linux install as a car, what car would it be.
Here is an example:
If my Fedora was a car, I'd be a Hummer H2. Why? Because it comes with every possible feature and a kitchen sink. Its slow. Its also very resource hungry, and HIGHLY unreliable.
My Turn:
If my Xubuntu was a car, it'd be a customized (not riced-out) Civic. Its pretty light-weight, resource-efficient, and comes only with the basic needed features. It wouldn't be a ricer civic, because on the outside its just your generic XFCE theme....nothing fancy.

Your statement was a bit erroneous. For anyone to imply that any domestic brand is better than the next is simply misinformed. The American auto industry is getting better but still has room for improvement. And I must credit GM for the Delphi offer, I mean look at how American companies say seeya to the workers when they send the jobs overseas without any compensation.
