Using a 7800 GTX driver.

I'm using a 7800 GTX driver for my 7800 Go. It pushed up my 3D Mark 06 score (optimal) from ~3020 to ~3100.

I was wondering if running it using the GTX driver could damage my 7800.

Windows will automatically select the driver that is for your card. Most likely the driver you are using is compatible with both cards, and it was just better than your last one for 3dMark performance and that caused the increase in performance. You won't harm you card by using a different driver.

Got it from Mitchell2.24v in another topic.

If you get an error when you open it, follow the steps in the readme and it should work fine.
