The 3DMARK 05' score is good, but is misleading because a DUAL CORE CPU was employed. This is because 05' doesn't know what to do with it. Not saying this is not a wonderful score in any way because it is.
The 3DMARK06' score clearly shows the foundation for which 3DMARK 06' was built, DUAL CORE/SLi.
Your 3DMARK 06' score is fantastic and kudos to you
Your 3DMARK 05' score rocks as well, no matter what.
If you check my sig, I scored 8102 with a single core PM in 05' and 4178 in 06'. So it's clear to me that 05' doesn't handle DUAL CORE and 06' does. We see a substantial increase in score for 06' over my single core PM.
This is my major problem with 3DMARK however, it's a synthetic benchmark. It's supposed to measure GPU capability but clearly takes into account for CPU capability and mainboard memory.
I think a title change is all that is needed to make the benchmark valid and not synthetic. FM should change the title to GamerMark07' or something to properly convey to people that system memory, GPU, and CPU are all calculated in the scoring.
Awesome scores and congrats

But for now in the real world (not the synthetic one) like single like dual, all the same FPS for us gamers(but different scores in 3d mark)...
Also i agree it should not be called 3D mark any more ,coz that word "3D" its not the GPU only anymore, its the CPU ,mem, system caching...just geting more and more synthetic...
