Best DD surround sound card for Sager 9860?

Hi. I just bought a new Yamaha receiver and would like to hook up my 9860 to it via an optical digital cable. What is the best DD surround sound card for Sager 9860 with optical digitcal out? I don't know too much about these but is it correct that the cards are external and plug into the PCMCIA slot?

I would recommend either the Audigy2 ZS or the Echo Indigo.

Thanks. I just had a look at the features and specs. Seems it uses some sort of dongle cable for the Optical TOSlink connector? What kind of optical cable do I need to attach to this card?
