So very Slow now

Hey back in september i purchased a Sager Notebook, everything was fine up until about a month ago, things started to slow down, but not noticeable enough that it was a issue. Now things are just plain crap since a couple days ago. Everything has been slow.. nothing has been runing like it used to.

Stats on the system:

P4 with HT, 3.8ghz
Ati X800 256mb with DDR3
2gb Ram
2x 80gb 7200 HDs
2DVD burners, with Lightscribe
17" Monitor, 1920x1600 reso.

As of recently. anything processing graphics has a huge chugging feeling to it. I was told to update my drivers to the latest drivers from ATI.. so i used the new catalyst drivers without control center ( 6.102 it think).. Then mid game, my laptop would freeze, with a completely blue screen ( not windows blue screen of death)... just plain blue screen.. To stop it from crashing i had to force low settings instead of application preferences...

I then uninstalled the drivers, and downloaded the ones with the control center, and when i went to install it, it Says
Severe Error:
INF error
Video Driver Not found.

then the 2nd half, it goes

Severe:
Setup was unable to complete installation.
Try to setup your display with a standard VGA driver before running setup.

I then.. decided to run 3dmark...to benchmark it..not pretty for CPU or Video card.
SM2.0 Score: 568
CPU score: 1093
I saw.. computers with less specs then mine, getting over 3000 and that in SM2. and 4000 in CPU.

Can someone help me fix my Laptop? Or recommend where to take it to get i fixed/ fine tuned/optimized.

Im ready to call PCtorque ( sager reseller i bought it through) or even Sager.. to get it fixed.. because after spending this much on it.. i dont think it should be performing as it is. specialy after such little time.

Thanks for any help guys.

that almost sounds like motherboard problems.

i guess the only way to figure out if its hardware or software problems is to reformat windows. if problems continue, time to use that warranty!!!

i'm probably not a good judge of that.

a repair station for Sager is like, 5 miles from my house. i simply brought my laptop down there and they fixed it (fan problems).
