Worth lowering clocks - no artifacts?

Is it worth lowering my clocks from 390/790 - 380/780 just so that it says no artifacts for an hour (only scanned that long). With my current clocks, it gets an artifact about every 30-60 seconds, yet I don't see any artifacts during games. MAX TEMP for an hour using either clocks is <65

Yes lower your clocks.

Dude, before my clocks 390/790 gave me a 3dmark06 score of 2306. After lowering it to 380/780, I only managed to get 2222. Do you think I will see a big difference in game play? On the bright side, at least there are no artifacts

You're spamming, and we've pretty much had a spam-free forum. You've been on just barely over three days and have 56 posts and post an average of 18 per day.

That's going to get on people's nerves.

I'm sure the difference will by nil.. its less than a 5% score drop.. and with margins of error and whatnot.. thats not a lot even without a margin of error..

Its better then burning it out and getting 0 FPS...

be glad you can even get it that high.

i top out at 343/746 3hours artifact free on ATI Tool.

the highest coolbits even lets me go is 366/763 and that's only when my gpu is at it's coolest idle temps, if i tried to push it that high after it warms up, i can't.

I miss being young.. I would never take being a little kid as an insult.. They were the best years of our lives... and If you're still young enough to have some good old fashioned little kid fun, yo'ought'a use it... (being only 19, it doesn't really sound right coming from me.. but just ask and old people will tell you how much they miss being 7-8 or however old you may be..)
