I hope I don't get banned for this but I am in need of some help. I have posted the same thread in the hypersonic + alienware forums, but I am hoping to get some assistance from any 9750/9890 owners since our notebooks are very similar. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here is what I posted:

So I just got my FX7 today! It has been four months to the date since I have placed the order. I was hoping everything would work out of the box, but no....

Here's my problem: The second dvd drive won't open! When I press the button for it to eject, I hear 3 clicks as if it is trying to open. But it won't. I tried popping it open using the paperclip method but it still won't. Any ideas anyone? I swear, if I have to send this thing back in already, I am going to be beyond pissed.

Not only does this problem absolutely suck, but I was given the wrong dvd drives. When I ordered my system I selected 2 lightscribe dvd burners. Instead I was given the Pioneer drives that Hypersonic now offers on their web site. WTF?! Why was I not informed about this change?

Also, I was not given the additional battery AND Logitech G7 mouse w/matching paint that I paid for!
