Nope. I called to ask and they said they would be in stock starting the 15th.

I ordered one from them but haven't got a confirmation yet, probably they've ran out of it.. under availability it says 7-21 days, so I guess they're ordering it..

What the hell... lol I order from Digital buy and it's not their anymore I have already place an order I guess I'll cancel my order if there not in stock ... I don't think thats a good sign, anyhow what other laptop accessories ya'll gettin?
I was goin to get a Targus case "Urban Messenger" and maybe BT mouse.

I have to get an EZDock. I just read TigerDirect.com actually has them in, so I may pull the trigger on that by the end of the week. I have to wait till Buy.com gives me my other $2,400 back from the other 8204 I had ordered through them. They ended up not being able to stop it from shipping, and so they dinged me for it. I refused the package yesterday so now I have to wait 3-5 days.

I need the ezdock too. I see that CDW has them in stock. A few weeks ago, they were 2-weeks to delivery.

costcentral has the ezdocks in stock.. i just picked one up... the specs on that thing are amazing...I might even have to get 2!!! one for home and one for work!!!

I'm glad you liked it. Sorry about that, I fixed the photo gallery this morning. It was searching for an xml file that I had forgotten to upload. It's all set now.

I was going to order my 8204 from CDW, since they told me yesterday that they were expecting them in on the 15th. Good thing I waited since I called today and they pushed the date back to the 21st. It's for a big order - 160 or so units. CDW had a better price but I decided to go with Tiger Direct. They were out of stock but were getting 17 more in btw the 9th and the 14th. 8 were already reserved when I placed my order.

Tiger direct will have it tomorrow, the 8th of Feb. Total price with 2 year warranty and next day shipping will be $2846.27.

Where can you get the onsite warranty?

CDW is hoping to have theirs sooner... I live close to their Vernon Hills, IL business center (basically, a walk-in section attached to their warehouse), and it looks like they might get some in the next few days or so. I placed one on hold, so I'm #90 on the list so far...

Of course, that was one salesperson's word. He might not have as good information as whomever has been quoting the 15th/21st. Or, of course, he might have better info.

Man, this is driving me CRAZY!!! ;-)

Here is my problem. Although the specs and everything I have read sound great, I am having a hard time pulling the gun without first seeing it live. I am a hands-on type of guy, and I want to feel and see it (especially the screen) before I buy. However, it seems that most websites don't allow returns unless it is defective. What if I just don't like it. Probably won't happen, but you never know. I want to be able to change my mind. I want a test drive. $2500 is a big chuck of change. So, with that being said, does anybody know of any physical retail stores that will be carrying this computer so I can go and see it in person? Also, does anybody know of any websites that allows returns for un-satisfaction? You know the old saying, "`100% guaranteed or your money back!" Does this exist?

Glad my review help you in your decision making process.

I've only heard speculation here and there that certain place will carry it eventually, but I wouldn't count on that for a while. It has to make it throught this first rush first. Even then, they will probably offer a scaled down version in retail outlets or probably just the 8202. Sam's club is suppose to have the 8204 but I don't think anyone knows by when. I appreciate that you want to "try before you buy" but I guess in this case it was just a calculated risk I was willing to take.
