I doubt Dell has the info, but someone could try. I am not worried about it since I always upgrade ram from other sources.
According to what you 've said, when you bought your dell laptop, you didn't know the spec of the RAM info? if your current 2gb OCZ 533Mhz (4-4-4-8) RAM should be from other resellers which details the config of RAM, then what about the dell RAM. If your E1705 RAM combine the memory of outsidemarket and that of dell, whether we should guarantee the same spec?
