The only issue I can reproduce is the gray lines and that doesn't really bother me. I have 2 monitors at work that have that "Problem", so that begs the question is it a "Problem". I'm still a bit toasted about the 533MHz RAM that I still haven't heard back from anyone on that from Tiger Direct or Acer. But other than that, this thing still rocks IMO.
if you think about it.. people usually go to tech forums for troubleshooting, not to say "everything's good". that's why it makes you think that a lot of people are having problems. it's probly the mentality of people i guess.

Good point.

@Kohaar
I guess you reached your 3DMark05 score with overclocking? What are your settings, driver and bios versions?
I have bios 3312 and my GPU/Memory is set to 519/530. Just enough so it doesn't get any hotter.
I get some artifacts (like black lightnings) in Nature Test of 3dMark'03 if I set clocks like this... I could get 8566 and even 8722(!) once (with 519/531) but I want to find safe settings... Anyway, I can't get more than 4985 in 3dMark'05 and I wonder why... If my 3dMark'03 scores are a little bit higher than yours, I shoud get at least the same score as you in 3dMark'05, right? I've seen someone with 8204 getting 5200 '05 score, but I don't think that it is possible to overclock mine so high - as I said, I was able to get artifacts even with your settings...

It could be a driver "issue" that your 3Dmark05 is lower. I use the Omega Driver.
3Dmark05 test on different things than 3Dmark03 does. The Nvidia 7600 get higher scores than the X1600 in 3Dmark03 and 06 but the X1600 get higher scores in 05, so since you get artifacts and I don't it could also have something to do with that.

I haven't tried to OC it higher. I just went for a setting where I got no artifacts and where the graphicscard didn't see to get hotter.

I've never tried to overclock mine running on Omegas, but scores on default settings were worse than on Acer 6.3 in my case. BTW, what are your 3dMark'06 scores, did you test it?
I have never tried the 06 version. It was so big, so I didn't download it :-)

I used the 05 version, just to test if my graphics setting were ok, and then I got the 03 version because one on another forum wantet my scores.

I use Omega Drivers my Scores are below.
Downloaded 3DMark 06 and without OC I get exactly the same score. Strange when I get 4500 in 3DMark 05.
I had 2009 and 4530 using Acer 6.3 and 3312 BIOS with no OC...
Just OC'ed and got 2215. Could probaly get it higher, but don't want to take any chances.

Have anyone been able to get SuperPI down to 1:10?

How are you monitoring temps..just watching for artifacting and keeping an eye on stability?

There isn't a sensor on the gpu is there? just hd, cpu.

I am doing some overclocking on mine as well.
Yep. Did a lot of 3DMark tests and looked for artifacts while chekking if the chassis became hotter. ;-)
