9300 on CSI:Miami

I was just wondering if anyone else saw the 9300 on CSI:Miami tonight?

FYI: They were using it running a test with a machine that supposedly measured odors/airborne particles. It had a graph on the screen, they were obviously plugging dell. For those that might say it was a 6000 the screen looked like a 17" to me.

I was watching the show.. but I couldn't really keep my eyes off of my beautiful 9300.. so I'll have to take your word on it.. but it is an awesome machine.. forget a plug on csi:miami, the 9300 deserves its own show.. no better yet,its own network.. i'd watch it!

Yeah I've seen that on a couple commercials.....funny kinda that it looks exactly like it only with the logo removed....

I usually can't keep my eyes off blondie...
But last summer they were plugging the HELL outta the Razor (sp?) phone. But I've caught the 9300 on there once in a while for quite some time now.

Gawd that chick is a cutie, though.

...Especially when she's got that big-ass gun strapped to her.

I noticed the 9300 last night as well, and my wife's reply was "Yeah, another laptop with a d*** widescreen. Why does everyone want such a big screen?" Guess she still doesn't get it...

Dell seems to be shelling out the cash. You see them all over TV shows these days.

I have always wondered why the SGC uses Inspirons instead of Latitudes though.

Probably because the people who watch it are going to buy Inspirons but yeah it doesn't add up when you think about it.

For those that don't know, SGC=Star Gate Command. Dells are also all over the show 24.

Actually it was a 6000. It didn't have a DVI output, only SVGA.

Without a trace, all the laptops in the fbi office are dells. looks like 6000s and 9300s.

I forget what show it was but I remember a while back some FBI guy in a show was using an Aleinware. Somehow I doubt the FBI would buy machines that look like an Alien head. Course doubt they would buy ones that look like the latest inspirons either.

real fbi people would probably use ibms, maybe sony's.

Screen Shots

Ok so maybe it was a 6000....after watching it again it doesn't look as wide to me....

Here are some shots sorry they are not that clear I was in a hurry

From the top with Dell logo removed

From the back and I think the Dell Logo is actually there but blurred

A shot of the screen with Dell logo blurred

A shot of the notebook from the front Dell logo visible

Just a little different version of the last one

those images make it look pretty big... I would swear that's a 17" screen on that. It would make sense to use a 17" screen for TV too, it would be easier to see from a distance for the cameras...

Well when I originally watched it on TV thats what I thought to but I'm just not sure...

I was actually referring to the Tax Software commercial having no DVI.

From those pictures (and as the owner of one) I'd say it does indeed look like a 9300.

yeah, that thing just looks huge in contrast to the people standing there. Definately a 9300
