I have an 8600 w/ a nVidia GeoForce Go5200. The ACPI stacks the video driver, the USB ports, the cardbus, and the 1394 all on IRQ 11.

The video card is badly degrading my music software (Pro Tools) performance. I have disabled all devices, tweaked XP, etc. etc and was able to isolate the video card. As further backup, another ProTools user has an 8600 w/ a 4200 card and Pro Tools works as it should. As even more backup, a different user has an 8600 also w/ a 5200 and Pro Tools also has problems.

Does anyone know if I change the XP setup from ACPI to standard if the IRQ locations can be adjusted?
