If you're looking to buy one, go to www.costcentral.com. Before I ordered mine (Tuesday, 2/7, 11:55 a.m.) they had 17 of them in stock and unallocated.

If you call them, ask for Dan.

called them, they are based in PA and CA so if you are in California, you have to pay an additional $179.45 with next day shipping total costs comes to $2654.68 and they don't offer the additional 2 year warranty.

Hey all,

Well they're already out of stock, what a surprise :P.

As for the warrenty try www.provantage.com. You can buy that from anyone and then just call the number on the card and get it set up. The 3 year with accidental damage is somewhere around $159 which is a great deal.

CDW has the Acer 3 year with accidental damage for $199.

Nope not out of stock yet they had 4 more after I order mine YES!!

Sorry for posting bad info. I had gone to the site and it said that they were sold out. Again I'm really sorry for any confusion. If I had the extra money it would cost me I'd happily order from them

About the warrenty I'm just trying to save some money so I know that I'll be ordering from provantage just because it's cheap and it's the same thing that everyone else is selling

I'm happy with the 1 year warranty. Typically, things go bad quickly or don't go bad at all. Maybe I'll give ACER a call after I get it and see what they charge for an extra two year warranty.

Mine came today also, but I have to wait until I get home to crack it open. Excited, but reserved. I just hope it doesn't run as hot as my space heater.
