Hi There,

Can it be that I can apply just one coupon for one Laptop? I have a 25$ and two 50$, but they can not be used at the same time.

From my experience, usually Dell would only allow for one coupon to be entered. But from time to time, some coupons can be stackable. These days though, the 15% off coupons are rarely being passed out.

Type in this code AFB66604088A at the check out for a 10% discount at Dell's small business website. It is good until 1/16/04

Hi giper,

Thanks a lot for the coupon.

Well I was considering to buy a Small Business with your coupon but look at that. Both systems are equivalent.

--------------------------------------------------------
Small Business:

$2,902.00 + $143.97 (Tax) - $290.20 (Coupon) = $2,761.27
After Rebate ($2,661.27)

- No Kensington Saddlebag Sport Backpack ($55)
+ FREE Palm Zire 21
- No RecordSoftware (DVD / CD)

--------------------------------------------------------
Home:

$2,697.00 + $19.59 (Tax) - $50 (Coupon) = $2,673.59

+ FREE Sonic RecordNow and MyDVD LE
+ Kensington Saddlebag Sport Backpack ($55)

-------------------------------------------------------

Its a hard decision. I need a backpack anyways, so the small business price $2,661.27 + $55 = $2711.27 ,still without Burning Software but additional Palm Zire 21.

The Home edition is including everything but the Palm Zire 21 and still $37.68 cheaper.

What would you do?

P.S. I have no small business, its just for me. Is that a problem?

I would go with the business since Dell has switch its support back to the US. I have a hard time understanding foreign accents. Good luck with the purchase.

To order from SB, just put your name in as the company. As far as Dell moving its support operation to the U.S. for its SB division, I think it is only for their corporate business division. My first order was through SB and I called several times and they were definitely foreign.

Damn, now I have another problem.

Actually I am an International Student from Germany studying here in USA. In August 2004 I will be done with my Masters and will go back to Germany. Thats why I need an international support for my Laptop.

In Home section, where you can choose the warranty it says, with buying the 3 or 4 years limited warranty and the Home in Service you are automatically provided with the International support, where you get support in many countries when you are on travel.

So when I am 'On Travel' for the next three years in Germany I would need support when something is brocken.

But the Small Business doesn't seem to have this International support. Thats now the next problem. hehe

There should be. Did you go to the Dell Germany site? Maybe you are viewing the U.S. internet site?

The problem is I am studying here in USA and I need now a laptop. I can't buy now a Dell from Germany.

But good idea, I checked it out there. It seems that they give me also the international support and complete care for home customers, but since there is no 'Small Business' option in Germany, it worries me I would stand there without any support at the end.

Perhaps I should go for a risk and take just the 1 year coverage and when I am back to Germany there is no support at all, but at least I did pay less.

Ohh now I can forget the Small Business option anyway. I tried it right away, the coupon was just 1-time use.

The Small Business option worked really good for me because there is no tax in Oregon. So I saved quite a bit with that coupon! It was a gift for my wife on her birthday.

You should also consider taking a look at refurbed systems which is basically a system that was returned for some reason whether it was legit or not. My first dell was a refub and it last a good 2.5 years but well replaced i managed to sell it for 350 bucks in its horrid end state so its always good for return value.

Ahh Overnight, Thanks man. You saved me! The coupons are nice.

A few questions:

I have signed up for this 2.5% Cashback by http://www.morerebates.com/Dell.html. I logged in there and clicked on 'Shop this store' Do you think this will work with 2.5% cash back?

Whats about the Rebates from Dell do they do in combination with this Coupon? There is a $150 mail-in rebate (System) and another $100(rebate off price listed) for 4 Yr Ltd Warr plus 4 Yr At-Home Service.

Does it really mean I get $250 back?

Thanks again
Houmi
