Now i know that there is a thread somewhere that says how to remove the keyboard on the 8790, but i cant find it, and the search function must not like me cuase that doesnt work for me. Any help is appreaciated, especially sense there is about 1.5 years worth of gunk under the keyboard.

Just push the little tabs above Esc, F7, Prt Sc, and * with your nails or something, and gently lift. Be CAREFUL with the ribbon that connects it. I usually keep it connected while I airblow it.
