All those who have GeForce Fx 5200 vid card for their tosh laptops, tell me if you had any problem with Halo / Max Payne 2 performance / graphic wise.

Very slow and laggy...

The card is just not good enough and we have the 2.4Ghz HT CPU...the card is disappointing - why couldnt they add $200.00 and put a decent card in there

Nice laptop otherwise...just not suitable for gaming...

here is an interesting story: i had a compaq presario AMD64 2.0gig and I exchanged it for the Toshiba M30 1.5 centrino with 5200FX... The Toshiba was crappy frame rates... I had to go back into the store and ask for my old compaq with a 440Go GPU back........ I guess the processor is more important than I thought... I was thinking the the vid card was the main ingredient...

Personally I dont have halo2 or max payne so I cant comment on how those perform but I do have a tecra m2 1.5centrino with fx5200 graphics. I mildly overclock my card and can play all of my games just fine.

The games I play are not old out of date games either. They include Battlefield Vietnam, Ravenshield, and Final Fantasy 11. True I cannot run these games at extremely high settings but if I put these games on medium to medium-high settings I get no choppyness at all.

If anyone needs the website to overclock the fx5200 for a toshiba it is
