Ok to use Fn + F10 to eject on Pioneer Slot Drive DVR-K05?

Is it ok to use Fn + F10 to eject discs from the Pioneer DVR-K05 slot drive? I assume it's ok, but maybe it was only intended to work with the standard Dell drives...that being said it seems to work fine...

Anyone know?

I see no reason why it would cause a problem.

Quickset just calls standard windows apis. There isn't anything special about the hardware.

For example, the sony notebook software works fine on Dell pcs. It's also a lot prettier, it's just annoying to get to install.

Cool thanks...what's the deal with the Sony software? What does it do better? (or prettier)
