I wouldnt pay 100 bucks for an X-Box personally as I prefer a PC much more. I also have a 755 here that didn't cost me a penny!

This might end up as a nice upgrade for when my 760 starts to feel slow...
I already have a "real" 2.13, but dang, an upgrade to 2.67 Ghz would be NICE!

I used two wires for the pinmod/voltmod

First one is like this to force 533FSB, as posted by Why0Why:

Second one is grounding VID4 by conneting G4 and F4, boosting volt to 1.596v

Then in Windows adjust the volt down to 1.212v (actual volt will be 1.212+1.596-1.34=1.468v)

The only thing that bothers me is I couldn't get Prime stable @1.452v, by grounding VID's 0 , 1 and 2. Otherwise CHC is unnecessory and the mod would be controlled purely by hardware.

Still, can't complain about 1.468v . Great work, I'd like to see you run some synthetic benchmarks in SANDRA 2005 if you have the time, just to see what kind of number crunching 2.66GHz is capable of. Also, try Super Pi too, might be able to get 31 sec . Anyway, great work and great chip

Factor in the fact that you could then sell your current 533mhz FSB CPU for $100-$200 depending on what processor you have; and it's not such an exspensive upgrade.

Do you have to use special software to do this or can you just pin mod it and leave it alone?

I used CHC to lower voltage otherwise it would be 1.596v

I will do if I got time!

although SANDRA is not my favorite since it's too clock sensitive

LOL... as you know I'm still laughing over my 1.6 533 selling on eBay for 125.00 on Monday and my 6800GO selling for 240.00 Sunday night!

If you can get those numbers these upgrades are not that much!

I've been thinking about it for a week.. Just didn't do it. Call it lazy, call it wasn't ready, call it.. just didn't get around to it.

Anyways.. Just booted up and CPU-Z shows the following
CPU: 2.66Ghz
Multiplier: x20
FSB: 133
BS: 533
Voltage: 1.34v

Temperature is currently at 29c 5 minutes after boot and @ idle! Thats only 1c more than my 1.8@2.4!

OK so now.. what should I do next?? Run Prime or should I do something else beforehand? Yeah.. been in the IT field for years but nver really played around with this stuff before now.
