See, this is what kills me. I have been desperatley trying to work through this. What else would you have expected me to do? Leave you out to dry? Why do you assume guilt so much man, I am really trying to help.

I am just trying to add this all up and figure out why or how this all happened. The problem is that it isn't adding up to me.

On another note, I just noticed that the lid latch is broken also. That is probably not a huge deal, I can't imagine that part costs very much, it just bugs the hell out of me that all of this stuff is going on and all of it happened during shipping with no damage to the box.

That's all I'm saying man. I don't know of anyone with a lick of common sense that would not feel like they were getting ripped off.

It is the perfect laptop and runs all current games on medium to high settings. 3.2ghz (with hyperthreading!)is a lot of power for a laptop and has served me well. Again, this system is in excellent condition and I make sure to clean the fans and vents at least once a week as to keep it clean inside and out.

The extra battery allows for extended use while away from a battery supply(over 3 hours). You can slide the extra battery out and replace with a drive of your choice (floppy included).

The winner of the auction will receive all items that shipped with the computer and the online support number, order code, and links to all drivers, etc. Please refer to: http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/tech_spec.html for more information.

This laptop is still one of the best laptops around. It plays World of Warcraft, EQ2 and Battlefield 2 better than most desktops. The screen is bright and easy to read, all keys function perfectly and have no wear, and there is also no wear on the touchpad.

I edited it to let people know the item was sold. It was drawing enough attention as it was. Nothing in the body of the post changed, except the removal of my contact info.

7toy9, I just thought it would be good to have a copy of the original post. Im sure you will be able to work out any issues that are being brought up. The copy of the original post should be done by the person that is thinking of making a deal in a for sale forum. I'll be around if anyone needs any assistance. just send me a private message.

7toy9, don't delete a for sale thread that has outstanding issues. you can discuss those things privately using the private message system but this thread cant be deleted until this is resolved. I believe the issue is the for sale description of a system in "excellent condition" and recieved with multiple stress cracks.

It has been resolved as much as it is going to be.

I have paypaled the buyer for the cost of the damage incured during shipping, even though insurance was purchased for the item.

I have emailed him several times regarding the process to file a claim with USPS with no response. To me, this is resolved. I don't know what else to do. This post is just an unfair tarnish on my seller rep.

To be honest, you say these hindges are a common thing. But then you say only the hinges are cracked during shipping and no other part of the laptop. I can honeastly say from a technicians stand point after working on computers and laptop since 1985 that this is bullsh*t. No wanting to start a flaming war here or anything but I sell and ship atleast $500 worth of stuff a week soemtimes much more. packed and sold well over 10k worth of stuff here alone now on nbf and theiris noway in hell only the hinges would be cracked during shipping, their woul dbe more damage done to the laptop and the screen latch at that? I dont know who you think you are fooling. But If i was this guy i would get my money back from this very untruthful seller.

Okay, this is my last say about the situation and it will be over, and thread locked.

The laptop is in pretty okay condition other than the problems stated. Obviously anyone in their right mind knows that hinges don't crack during shipping, I don't think I need to state that again.

The seller has sent me the money for the replacement items, but chose not to cover the shipping from Sager. Not that I would expect him to at this point anyway. I don't know what he is talking about with the USPS thing. That is something only he can do as the seller, but obviously he won't be doing that since the claim would be bogus anyway and would be considered fraudulent.

As of now this matter is closed in my opinion, and I have gone through yet another online-buying learning process. Just be careful when you are buying and thoroughly check all referrences and get an exact description with plenty of proof. Unfortunately you are not covered for this type of situation, I'm sure after many fradulent claims in the past.
