you bet, i had it replaced a week and a half ago and have burned several dvds

now can you dig that toshiba, maybe next time try putting in a working dvdrom out of the box.

Retail, Staples 2mins from my place. It was on clearance and VERY VERY lucky they had the last one in the entire Staples chain. The funny thing is, I walked in intending to buy an Acer and said, no more Toshiba, until I got hit with this...it was too good to turn down. I got it for $1400cdn with free extra 512 ram upgrade, free 25pk DVDRs and a free dvd movie.

When I had the M70 days before, I paid about the same but obviously the chance to upgrade to 17 at no to very little cost is a no brainer

That's kind of what happend to me execpt without the ACER part!

Well I went to PC World coming with the idea of just getting ADSL Microfilters with my parents and then they said I can get a Laptop and I did and I chose one on display, but they were out of stock because they had to reformat and told us to come back later. And I saw this one (TOSHIBA Satelite Pro A60) and there was 1 left in stock so I took it!

Well I saved up £300 and they paid the rest!
