the two latches on the front of the 5720:
the left one has a lock/unlock postion with an audible "click"- and the right one is spring-loaded.
the left and right latch move independent of each other
so if i "lock" the left side, and move the spring-loaded latch on the right side with my thumb
i can still partially open the right side of the laptop which bends the crap out of the lcd (right side has no lock).
i used to think the term "lock" meant the unit was locked until you "unlocked" it to open the lcd
so whats the purpose of the mismatched latches, is my 5720 defective?, or is it just a stupid design
thx
