Cool, I didn't see this before I posted before.

Don't worry about AW, they're used to customers calling and changing orders. It just takes them a few moments to change the order, but you'll have to live with the computer for a while so get what you want.

I know because I've done it with four of my five Alienware computers. And the only reason I didn't do it with the fifth is because they sent it to me as a loaner when I was sick, and I ended up keeping it...

Maybe they know me too well, and they're sending computers in advance so I don't have a chance to call and change the order...

Very glad you changed it back to the 1920x1200. With your CPU and GPU, you'll have lots of power to run games at this resolution. I'm running the XPS 2 at 1920x1200 with only a Pentium M 2.0GHz CPU and the go 6800Ultra vid card, and it's great. I agree with Hammerhead - when I do lower the resolution, is still looks good. So relax and enjoy the wait for your rig - it looks great.

Anticipation - It's a ticklish thing really, Quivering, exciting, waiting, Until it dies - Killed by it's own self. Lost through virtue of being there (Dal Perry)

Don't most new games have a widescreen display option, so I don't think you will really get a distorted image. I ordered the 7700 with the supped up screen and 7800 card. Even If I can't max out on that resolution, I still have something to look forward to if I upgrade the video card and/or processor. I pretty much maxed out on the options on my order but didn't bother getting the best processor. As long as I have a dual core now I know my board could take the fx-60 or something else later. I'll upgrade when the price is nicer.

the fx 60 is the last processor going into socket 939!!!! they are going to the m2 socket in the fall i believe!!!
