Refurb D600's

I bought some refurb Dell D600 which are nice little notebooks (after using a inspiron 9100). Both have some scratches on the top of the case. Some are fairly deep.

Does anyone who how to get them out? Any paint I could use? The D600 has the standard Dell silver look.

HELP! I bought one for my gf and now she is pissed at me...

not very nice of your g/f to be "pissed" since she got a free notebook. high maintenance, maybe?

1. get a new g/f .... or ...

2. buy a "stick-on" cover http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?...+Cover&x=0&y=0
3. buy a replacement cover. http://computers.search.ebay.com/D60...chiZQQsaprcloZ

good luck with any or combination of the three (3) choices above.
