8204 question

is the 8204 the same as 8200 and also is the ac adaptor universal i am going to purchase one in the usa

Hey there,

The 8204 is one of the models from the travelmate 8200 line. There has been talk of an 8202 which features the 1.86 Ghz core duo and I believe 1Gb of ram along with a 100Gb harddrive. I'm not 100% sure of those specs it's just what I remember. I guess I just said no the 8204 isn't the same as the 8200 in a really long way. I'm guessing that you found a site selling the 8204 but has it labeled 8200, just make sure that the specs are the same and that the model number is the same I believe it's LAX06.34 (could someone correct me on that please? ). As for the AC adaptor I'm not sure so I'll leave that answer to another person .

The 8202 is actualy a 1.66 ghz/1GB ram/100 Gig configuration.

The 8200 is the entire line, the model numbers tell you what goodies you get, and the acessorys would be for the whole line.
