Video converting

Is there an easy way to convert MPEG Layer-3 to MPEG Layer-2 or 1 or WMV 7, 8, & 9 with WMA Standard or WMA Pro audio ??


the media center extender for the xbox 360 can't play mpeg layer-3

Windows Media Encoder might work. Get it at microsoft.com. If that doesn't work, ask at videohelp.com

MPEG Layer 3 is MP3, audio part compression format in MPEG-1. There are no MPEG Layer 2 or 1, but there are MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video formats. And the rest are video formats, too. Are you trying to convert MP3 to a video format?

Go to www.doom9.org and find BeSweet GUI. It's freeware for transcoding audio.

I have the MP3 Cutter Joiner Version 1.17, It converts .MP3 to .WAV, .WMA and .OGG.
