Im ordering today and have a question

Thread Starter
Guys Im ordering either a CX7 from Hypersonic or a 5720 from PC Torque today.
The 5720 is actually more expensive and I want to know which to buy. The only difference is that with the Hypersonic I get the 60 gb SATA and with the 5720 I can get the PATA with overclocking abilities. Im torn guys... Also if I buy a one year warranty can I add a extended warranty later on this year? And how long does it take to recieve my order?

Thanks guys for any info!

On the sager side I just saw a guy who ordered on a Sunday and got his system that Friday from PC Torque. Those kinds of ship times seems to be consistant with the 5720 from Torque.

As for Hypersonic, I placed my order on 1-26-06 and my system has yet to ship. (see specs in sig) It has no paint, or parts they didn't have in stock, but it's been delayed FOUR times with no explination.

it was most likely a prebuilt. it takes time for hyper to do a proper burn in. also, prebuilts are available from hyper as well, so if u need it quick hyper can send it out pretty fast.

Look, we all know Alison looks like a hep-c free Pamela Anderson and Pat looks like Brad Pit before he tore thru that Chachi's waitress. But we don't need to refer to what may or may not happen behind close doors.

Remeber teh slogan: What happens at Hypersonic, stays at Hypersonic.

I think the whole burn in period is utter bs, but Sager takes the cake... They actually shipped machines with the plastic film still on the cpu heatsink!! Brilliant.

The thing about the plastic still being on the heatsink and things like that are why I decided to go with the Hypersonic CX7 instead of the Sager. And of course if Darth Beavis goes Hyper they must be good !

Thanks for all the imput I got that helped me make my decision.

enjoy the notebook. lol pastick was still on the hsf? thats pretty sad, but sager isnt a bad company. what specs did you get?

whats worse plastic on cpu or a suppose burn in period where they didnt evan check the hard drive setup and burnt me a resque cd for a single hardrive setup ...you be the judge. pick pc torque and be done with it.
