dvd drive issue

im having very odd issues with my dvd drive. I't some times doesnt recognise dvd's that it itslef burn under a week ago. yet other computers can recognise them.

Any one have to same porpblem mayb they have a quick fix. or should i just resort to a respawn of the lappy.

I remember having the same problem with DVD-R. Sometimes my laptop wouldn't recongnize them, and sometimes it would. But it not just only happened with my 7700, it also happened with my friends laptops. I tried DVD+R and i haven't had any problem...not that i remember.
